Cookies are not the same as localStorage
Cookies are small values that browsers may send with requests to a website. localStorage is a separate browser facility that can retain values for scripts on the same website origin. The supplied site scripts do not set cookies, run advertising or analytics trackers, or send saved scorecard values to us.
The site's own persistent tool storage is described below. Hosting infrastructure or features added separately to a deployed site may have their own behavior; this notice does not claim to list settings controlled by an unknown hosting provider.
The optional scorecard record
| Item | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
| poppixapicniteam.scorecard.v1 | localStorage containing team labels and numeric scores, written when you select “Save on this device.” Read on a return visit to restore the sheet. | No automatic expiry. Remains until cleared by you or removed by your browser. |
Saving is not necessary for calculations or printing. The tool can be used entirely in page memory. On shared devices, avoid personal names and clear the record when finished. Saved data does not sync between devices through this website.
How to remove or avoid storage
Open the scorecard and select “Clear all scores” to remove its saved record and reset the visible fields. Alternatively, use your browser's site-data controls to remove data for poppixapicniteam.quest. Browser menus and labels vary.
You can avoid writing the record by not selecting “Save on this device.” If a previous record exists, the page attempts to restore it until it is cleared. Browser restrictions may block localStorage; calculations and printing remain available even if saving fails.
Temporary page information
Menu state, checklist ticks and unsaved score edits are kept only as page state by the supplied code. The contact tool holds form values and a generated draft in the page. It does not save them to localStorage or send them automatically.
Your browser may independently restore forms, cache page files or maintain history. Copying a draft places text on your device's clipboard; downloading creates a file you control. Those are not cookies, and clearing this site's scorecard record does not clear your clipboard, downloaded files or email.
